As of the 2025-2026 academic year, the Terry Foundation has surpassed $100 Million invested in Terry Scholars at Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University Galveston Campus. This investment has impacted 1,871 students and their families, and it continues to grow with each new cohort of Scholars selected.
Texas A&M Foundation honored The Terry Foundation’s $100 Million investment through a celebratory luncheon and an on-campus tribute during April 2026.
Pictured below, the tribute display of Texas flags was prominently located outside the Texas A&M Foundation offices in the Hagler Center, near Kyle Field. Each flag in this tribute represents a student and a story — a unique journey toward success and a pledge to keep the path open for those who follow.

Howard and Nancy Terry created the Terry Foundation to help young people help themselves. The Terry Foundation has invested in over 7,000 Texas students since 1987.
The magnitude of such an investment is measured by the lives impacted when potential is given opportunity and access.
We are proud to celebrate the thousands of college graduates and millions of dollars invested in them, but we always strive to remember that the story of the Terry Foundation is built one student at a time.
