TXST Orientation

The Terry Orientation event is an opportunity for Terry Scholars to learn about the Terry Foundation and engage with the Terry community on campus. Scholars will also hear from the officers in the Terry Scholar Student Organization and Terry Campus Coordinators. This event is a requirement for all Terry Scholars and allows scholars to meet or reconnect with each other at the beginning of the new academic year.

All scholars must attend and participate in the Orientation event. Details regarding the event including specific check-in times will be sent to scholars via email. Scholars needing to request an excused absence should log into the Terry Portal to submit an Event Excuse Request.

Terry Picnic at Reunion Ranch

Currently enrolled Terry Scholars attending TXST, UT-Austin, and UTSA are REQUIRED to attend the Terry Picnic at Reunion Ranch and utilize the transportation provided by the Foundation.

Scholars, Alumni, Board Members, and Staff share a casual meal and have the opportunity to reflect on the year together. During the picnic event, Terry Scholars will receive an update from the Terry Foundation Board of Directors and help us celebrate the graduating seniors as we listen to their accomplishments and future plans.

Scholars needing to request an excused absence should log in to the Terry Portal to submit an Excused Absence Request (located under the Actions menu).

Alumni will be invited via email to RSVP for picnic events.
