TAMU Fall Banquet
Currently enrolled Terry Scholars are required to attend the fall banquet hosted by the Terry Foundation at their Terry University. The banquet is an opportunity for Terry Scholars to meet and interact with Terry alumni, Directors, Foundation staff, and other Scholars. The dinner features presentations by University officials and representatives of the Terry Scholar Student Organization.
Scholars will receive detailed event information via email. Scholars needing to request and excused absence should log into the Terry Portal to submit an Excused Absence Request (located under the Actions menu).
Alumni, banquet invitations will be sent in early September via email. Stay tuned!
At Orientation, scholars receive valuable information regarding the Terry Scholarship program, strategies for student success, and the Terry Scholar student organization on their campus. Scholars will also meet their Terry University Coordinator and their Scholar Relations Coordinator from the Foundation at this event.
Every Terry Scholar is required to attend and participate. Details regarding the event including specific check-in times will be sent to scholars via email.
Parking has been reserved in the lot in front of the Equine Complex and does not require a parking permit.
All Scholars will check-in at the Thomas G. Hildebrand, DVM ’56 Equine Complex Auditorium.
George Ranch Picnic
Terry Scholars will join Foundation Board Members, Foundation staff, and Terry Scholar Alumni for a celebration of the school year and the Gold Pen Ceremony for outgoing seniors.
Scholars attend with their university, and are required to utilize the transportation provided by the Foundation. Every Scholar is required to attend and participate. Details are emailed to scholars.
Alumni should plan to arrive between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
The lunch buffet closes at 12:00 p.m.
The afternoon program will conclude at 3:00 p.m.
