Terry in Action- Isabella Nobile
Isabella Nobile (UH 2016) assisted UH’s eNABLE chapter in building a 3D printed prosthesis for a 6 year old girl.
TF: How did you get involved?
IN: My friend and classmate invited me to a meeting, and I was excited by the prospect of giving back to children through a STEM project.
TF: How has this experience impacted you?
IN: The experience of working with eNABLE is one I’ll never forget. I saw the little girl completely delighted by her newfound ability, and felt overwhelmed with emotion. Empowering a child through engineering has inspired me to find new ways to make a difference in the lives of more children like her.
TF: If you could give advice to other Terry Scholars who want to get involved, what would you tell them?
IN: Find people with a passion for projects!
