New Terry Staff
The Terry Foundation is pleased to announce the recent expansion of our Scholar Relations Team. Please help us welcome Shaunon McClellan and Kyle Knight, our newest Scholar Relations Managers.
Shaunon and Kyle are already hard at work helping our 2023 Interview Panelists prepare for their service on panels and meeting with Terry students and university partners. We are thrilled to have them on the Foundation team!
Shaunon McClellan is a native of Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, and Oklahoma State University, where she received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. Shaunon is currently a doctoral candidate at Texas Woman’s University and is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Family Studies. Her research interest explores the intersections of human rights, equity in health care, and families among underserved populations.
Prior to joining the Terry Foundation, Shaunon worked at Texas Woman’s University Houston campus from 2015 – 2019 and the Dallas campus from 2020 – 2022 and served as the Assistant Director of the Pioneer Center supporting undergraduate and graduate students’ academic success. Upon returning home to Houston, Shaunon worked at CHI Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center as the Educational Specialist, where she supported medical students, residents, and fellows from Baylor College of Medicine. When Shaunon is not working, she values spending time with her family and serving her community as an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority Incorporated.
