The Terry Foundation exclusively features Terry Scholar Alumni as the main speakers during the Fall Banquets on our partner campuses and the Fall Virtual Alumni Gathering hosted on Zoom. \nThis year’s speech theme is “Leadership.” Do you have a lesson or story about leadership to share with your fellow Terry Scholars? (See the Speaker Guidelines for ideas.) \nThe Terry Foundation will host a virtual information session to answer questions from Alumni who are interested in speaking at the Fall Banquets or at the Fall Virtual Alumni Gathering. Former speakers will join us to share about their positive experiences\, strategies for brainstorming speech topics\, and how to overcome feelings of self-doubt. \nIf you are interested in sharing some wisdom and insights with our community\, please read the Speaker Guidelines carefully and submit the Banquet Speaker Form between August 1st and August 29th. \nGoals for Speeches\n\nBanquet speeches should inspire and motivate our Scholars.\nTo accommodate the diverse crowd at each event\, we request that speeches not be political or religious in nature.\nSpeeches should be limited to 10 – 15 minutes long.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to recruit our 2025 Terry fall event speakers. The Terry Foundation exclusively features Terry Scholar Alumni as the main speakers during the Fall Banquets on our partner campuses and the Fall Virtual Alumni Gathering hosted on Zoom. \nThis year’s speech theme is “Leadership.” Do you have a lesson or story about leadership to share with your fellow Terry Scholars? (See the Speaker Guidelines for ideas.) \nIf you are interested in speaking at a fall event\, watch a recording of past speakers sharing tips\, strategies for brainstorming topics\, advice for overcoming self-doubt\, and reflections on the impact of being a speaker. Then\, please read the Speaker Guidelines carefully and submit the Banquet Speaker Form between August 1st and August 29th. \nGoals for Speeches\n\nBanquet speeches should inspire and motivate our Scholars.\nTo accommodate the diverse crowd at each event\, we request that speeches not be political or religious in nature.\nSpeeches should be limited to 10 – 15 minutes long.
